Who should read Start with Why?
‘Start With Why’ by Simon Sinek was one of my February 2020 reads. The book is a more detailed version of his infamous TED talk titled: ‘How great leaders inspire action.
Why do leaders start with why?
If you’re leading a team or an organization, start with WHY. Remember that “People don’t buy WHAT you do; they buy WHY you do it.” The most effective leaders always win the heart first, and then the mind. And the only chance you have to win the heart if you start with WHY.
Why do we start with why?
In 2009, Simon Sinek started a movement to help people become more inspired at work, and in turn inspire their colleagues and customers. Sinek calls this powerful idea The Golden Circle, and it provides a framework upon which organizations can be built, movements can be led, and people can be inspired.

Why is it important to know your why?
It makes you live with integrity Knowing your purpose in life helps you live life with integrity. People who know their purpose in life know who they are, what they are, and why they are. And when you know yourself, it becomes easier to live a life that’s true to your core values.
What is the importance of the power of Why?
Instead of telling people what or how you do it, tell them why you do it. Starting with why enables a broader perspective and provides the opportunity to rise above the competition and even yourself.
What is my why examples?
“ My why is to help people be more connected in their life, career, and business.” “To push myself to be the best version of myself so that I know my mom is smiling down on me.” “To leave the world better than I found it and be remembered by the people whose lives I touched as a force for good in their lives.”
Why is the Golden Circle?
The Golden Circle can be used as a guide to vastly improve leadership, corporate culture, hiring, product development, sales and marketing. It explains loyalty and how to create enough momentum to turn an idea into a social movement.
What is Simon Sineks Why?
Our WHY: To inspire people to do the things that inspire them so that, together, each of us can change our world for the better.
How do you write a Why statement?
Your WHY statement should be able to encapsulate all of the qualities we just mentioned —and it should be able to do so in a single sentence. It should also be “evergreen,” meaning that it should be applicable to everything you do, both personally and professionally—without separation.

Books strengthen our self-confidence and help us to understand why we are who we are. They help us discover where we come from and help us figure out where we want to go. Books help children and adults to open up, to move beyond self-absorption and connect to other people. Books help us to become more compassionate.
What is golden circle?
The Golden Circle is a concept developed by Simon Sinek who says, “people don’t buy what you do, they buy why you do it.” According to Sinek, most people communicate by starting with the “what” they do aspect and eventually work their way back to talk about “how” and “why” they do what they do.
